Human Rights Torch Relay
Dr Foskey will today join with other community leaders today to welcome the Human Rights Torch Relay to Canberra.

The Human Rights Torch Relay – modelled on the Olympic Games Torch Relay – focuses on human rights abuses around the world, and most particularly in China, as a part of the lead up to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Community groups represented at the event will include Darfur, Tibetan, Chinese and Burmese communities of the Canberra Region.
Other speakers for the Human Rights Torch Relay include Bishop George Browning, Bishop Pat Power and the ACT Greens’ Ms Kerrie Tucker.
