Murray Darling Basin: issues in Southern NSW and the ACT

Murray Darling Basin: issues in Southern NSW and the ACT

A REGIONAL WATER FORUM – SAT 17 MAY – ANU INNOVATIONS CENTRE

ACT Greens MLA Deb Foskey is organising a regional water forum this Saturday.

“As the drought tightens again we are reminded that it is time to look at how we live in the Murray Darling basin. This forum is a chance to look at the issues and come up with some ways forward” Dr Foskey said today.

The forum is in two parts. The morning is a public event with a number of speakers with great expertise addressing the regional issues of the Murray Darling Basin. The afternoon will be workshops on policy and actions for NSW, ACT and Australian Greens, and will be closed to the public.
