Greens responding to Industrial Relations (IR) legislation
An Australian Greens working group coordinated through Senator Rachel Siewart’s office is currently planning national actions to respond to the government’s restrictive and regressive ‘reforms’ to IR legislation. It is essential that the public be informed of the consequences of the proposed changes and be mobilised to oppose them. The ACT Greens are currently not represented on this group and invite any member with an interest in IR to be our delegate. It will involve no more than participating in a monthly phone link up (you can do that from home for the cost of a local call) and reporting back to the ACT Greens on any actions.
